WELCOME TO THE
PARKERSBURG & WOOD COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY
Are you having trouble finding a good book to read? Well, we are happy to help you in person
at the Library, or you can use some of the great online tools on our Good Reads page. I have
talked about NoveList before on our website, but another one that is available
on the web is LibraryThing. It is an online service to help people catalog their books easily. You can
access your catalog from anywhere even on your mobile phone. Because everyone catalogs
together, LibraryThing also connects people with the same books, comes up with suggestions
for what to read next, and so forth. The suggestions are excellent, and the tagging really helps
in finding other great books to read. If you use Amazon.com to find other books to read, then you will
love LibraryThing. - Brian E. Raitz, Director
The library sends an email each week of new materials added to the collection along with important news and information about the library. If you would like to be added to the list, please go to NEW MATERIALS EMAIL LIST.
