Friends of the Parkersburg & Wood County Public Library

Do you really love your Library? Would you like to see the Library be the best it can be? Then maybe you should look into joining the Friends of the Library. We are always looking for new members that want to improve the local Library.

The Friends currently have a Fall and Spring Book Sale, with proceeds from said sales to provide financial support to the Parkersburg & Wood County Public Library. In the past, the Friends have given their support in the past to the Library with projects like buying new materials, furniture, support of WV Library Association, computer equipment, and much more.

For more information on the Friends of the Library please see the By-Laws, or contact the Library at 420-4587 to find out when the next meeting will be.

If you would like to become a member of the Friends, please visit the Library and fill out a registration form. Annual membership dues are $2 per person and $5 for a family.
